How can I participate?
If you're here, you're likely looking for ways to be a bigger part of our mission. We currently offer a handful of ways to participate in the actualization of the vision of Rancho de la Libertad:
WWOOF with us
Update: for the time being we are not hosting WWOOFers. We hope to renew our membership and continue hosting once we've regained the energy needed to orient and train excited guests! If this is something you'd like to do, stay tuned for updates here or send us an email.
WWOOF is a mutual, in-person exchange: we host you here at the ranch, provide you with meals, a domicile, and an exchange of knowledge and culture. During your stay, you're a part of our community, and offer a portion of your time to help us work on projects.
Subscribe as a Supporter
Supporters help us fund projects like tree planting, animal stewardship, and infrastructure development. They also help bring us closer to our goal of supporting the community here without corporate jobs – a goal that will enable more in-depth stewardship, as well as the offering of a space for committed residents to live without needing to offer their labor for a wage. This frees us as a community to attend to intellectual, creative, and philanthropic pursuits that we otherwise would not have the opportunity to engage in. We believe that creating spaces and opportunities like this help us make the world better a little at a time.
Subscribers at the Support tier receive access to quarterly Q&A posts, where we answer questions you submit via email, and access to the full archive of posted content including extras like recipes and how-to's drawn from our collective knowledge.
